Seven studies (739 assessments with 306 dislocations) met inclusion criteria. POCUS was 99.1% (95% CI 84.9% to 100%) sensitive and 99.9% (95% CI 88.9% to 100%) specific for the diagnosis of shoulder dislocation with a LR+ of 796.2 (95% CI 8.0 to 79,086.0) and a LR- of 0.01 (95% CI 0 to 0.17).
